How Raising Butterflies can Help Save Monarchs...
Happy Belated π Day ,
it can feel overwhelming to think about what's happening to our planet with climate change negatively impacting people, animals, the environment, and beneficial pollinators like monarch butterflies! π¦π’
There are many things we don't have direct control over, but we can all make a difference starting in our own back yards; if enough of us take small actions at home, it can make a difference in our communities and beyond...
Here are a few things you can do to help insure that monarchs and other beneficial pollinators will still be here for future generations:

While raising butterflies isnβt a conservation strategy in the truest sense of the phrase, it does:
Educate butterfly enthusiasts (of all ages) on the amazing life cycle, and make people think about how their actions can impact monarchs, and other beneficial pollinators.
Start a conversation about healthy raising practices, and how we can ensure our efforts are making a positive impact on the struggling monarch population.
Monarch βmillsβ are not the answer because they lead to milkweed shortages and diseaseβ¦Raise a few, and raise them well πΏπ
