it can feel overwhelming to think about what's happening to our planet with climate change negatively impacting people, animals, the environment, and beneficial pollinators like monarch butterflies! ๐Ÿฆ‹๐Ÿ˜ข

There are many things we don't have direct control over, but we can all make a difference starting in our own back yards; if enough of us take small actions at home, it can make a difference in our communities and beyond...

Here are a few things you can do to help insure that monarchs and other beneficial pollinators will still be here for future generations:

5 Ways To Help Save Monarchs in 2025 โฌ…๏ธ (4 and 5 are specifically related to raising healthy butterflies)

While raising butterflies isnโ€™t a conservation strategy in the truest sense of the phrase, it does:

  1. Educate butterfly enthusiasts (of all ages) on the amazing life cycle, and make people think about how their actions can impact monarchs, and other beneficial pollinators.

  2. Start a conversation about healthy raising practices, and how we can ensure our efforts are making a positive impact on the struggling monarch population.

Monarch โ€˜millsโ€™ are not the answer because they lead to milkweed shortages and diseaseโ€ฆRaise a few, and raise them well ๐ŸŒฟ๐Ÿ›
