Greetings Monarch Raiser,

peak migration has come to Minnesota as temps soar into the high 80’s, with unusually high humidity.

Typically, we keep late-summer monarchs 24 hours before releasing because they (typically) emerge later in the day in cooler temps, so it takes longer to reach optimal flight level….our final 3 monarchs emerged early-morning (7am) and all were rarin’ for release by noon!
