How to Increase Monarch EGG Survival Rate❓🥚☠️ 😰
Summer salutations ,
I hope you are having a very merry monarch season so far in 2024. 🤗🦋
The time has finally come to begin your raising journey, and today, we’ll start with one small step…
Raise The Migration: Monarch EGGS 🌿🦋
Today your eggs-citing adventure begins as we go over how to hunt for, gather, and protect impossibly-tiny monarch eggs. 🥚🔍
This seems to be a problem-area for many raisers, especially when it comes to finding eggs and keeping track of them.
There are two methods we use to hatch eggs with great success:
1. food containers (provide a superior and ultra-safe hatching environment)
2. floral tube hatching (this option can only be used if you harvest the right egg-upied stem or leaf cutting)
Using other methods, raisers have reported issues with leaves drying out too quickly, or having a very difficult time keeping track of baby hatchlings.
The methods listed above have eliminated those issues for us, and I hope they will do the same for you...
If you have struggled through the egg stage, this could help you turn the corner. Check out the updated blog post below for info on how to find eggs and help them thrive on the path to butterhood:
