sunny skies and way above average temps have followed us into October with highs near…90°F❗️🥵
In your last newsletter, I reported we still had 9 chrysalises in our care…as of October 2nd, that number is down to zero which means today I can share our final raise the migration results, and lessons learned.
But first, a shocking swallowtail surprise to share…

Raising Report
It’s rare to be sharing a raising report in October that’s not about monarchs, but our prolonged September heat wave enticed some later-than-average egg laying in our Minnesota garden.
On the final day of September, I noticed these little guys on our potted parsley plant:
