Raising UPDATES + SHARE Your Experience πΏπ β
Greetings Monarch Raiser,
β¦how time flies! π¦ Weβre nearing peak migration season and yesterday there were 3 monarchs in our garden jubilantly jumping between late-blooming liatris scariosa and Mexican sunflowers.
In Minnesota, weβre still in the midst of raising our migration generation butterflies.
We have four newly formed chrysalides and one instar 2 caterpillar that must have snuck in as a blackhead egg. The little egg survived my initial milkweed rinsing and steered clear of his massive big brothers and sisters, so he will be a spoiled little cat during his final week of the caterpillar stage.
It's now late-August and many of you are still raising your migration generation butterflies, or perhaps, just about to start?
If you've gone through the all raise the migration info, and released your final butterflies for 2024, please check out the following info...
