πŸ™Œ πŸ¦‹ How Long Should I WAIT to Release Monarchsβ“β³πŸ€”

Happy 🐫 Day ,

We started preparations for raising monarchs in late June, and today we've reached the pinnacle achievement of Raise the Migration!

Not quite caught up to this point raising your monarch bundles of joy?πŸŒΏπŸ›

No worries , if you missed any of the informational emails over the past few weeks, you can always refer back to our recap page on the link below:

During this time of year, I get a lot of questions about how to release monarchs, when to release, what to feed grounded butterflies, etc...

Our successful release process will be outlined in today's Raise The Migration post to help you learn a better way to safely release monarchs back to nature...

Release Your Butterflies! πŸ™Œ πŸ¦‹

Your magical monarch adventure is coming to an end. It's time to release your butterflies so they can fill up with fuel (nectar!) before heading off on the trip of a lifetime. You've gotten them this far, so don't put them in a precarious position when you let them go:

In the release post, you'll also learn the differences between male and female monarchs, so when you see a butterfly next season you'll know whether you should start looking for eggs on your milkweed. In case you miss that link:

Coming Up Next? 🧐

In our wrap up to Raise The Migration 2024, I'll have a link to a brand new blog post where you can share your raise the migration results and, more importantly, what you've learned to improve your process raising forward in 2025.

Until then,
